I'm certified ya'll

This week has been one of the fastest of my life.

Sunday rolled around and we had another 6am start to head to a language centre to give teaching a other crack. Considering my last experience one could imagine I wasn't chopping at the bit to get there but I sucked it up and treated it as a new day. Thankfully these two lessons went 100x better and I only had to listen to baby shark three times (thank the teaching gods!!).

We nearly had time to bask in our glory as it had to be heads down ass up to finish the rest of the assignments. Our team curriculum project was due on Monday, our final assessed lesson plan on the Tuesday, and ethnography report on the Wednesday and our final test on the Thursday. Everyone was pretty strong out at this point and the sickness started to get us one by one.

Thursday morning 9am everyone was looking shell shocked. The exam comprised of 10 short answer questions, 10 multi choice and one lesson plan. We were given three hours.

To a fault your girl has never stayed in an exam that amount of time. I panic and scribble and leave.

One of the questions just wouldnt come to me, it was about classroom management and what to do if you believe you have exhausted all of your resources. I answered cry. The only thing you can do. Cry silently in the corner.

At 10.30 I hand in my paper and head for the thing I need the most, the family fun mart of course. One by one the beers start flowing and it's all over. Obviously forgetting we have to be back In class by 12.30 to present our reports.

Wish I could say that was the only time I went to class drunk. Sorry mum.

But everyone passed at the instructors duty was done, meaning they could officially be our friends and join us in responsible drinking.

Few more hours speed past and its time to head to the rooftop bar for graduation

Certificates are flying around as well as most likely to... awards.

Most likely to turn anything inappropriate. I am shining here obviously.

With the rooftop being in Bui Vien there was only one place to go to celebrate. However it was better sweet as people are now going there separate ways, people that I have only known for 4 weeks were taking off, and it sucked mate. A huge shout out to every single one of the weirdos I meet this month. I couldnt picture this course without any of you!

I had my own plans though. As I dont start my Job till the 3rd it was the perfect time to take a wee tiki tour around by myself. I've planed an 8 day trip, to three different locations for under $200 NZD which in itself is batshit!

That will be separate but just letting you know I haven't wasted my last month... I'm now a proud TESOL teacher who can use her certification globally. And that was in a month. Never stop hustling a d stay golden my loves.
